Elena Puzikova, Auditor of the Chamber of Control and Accounts of Volgograd region
Elena Puzikova was born on October 15, 1962 in the village of Glebovo of Nizhny Novgorod Region. In 1985 she graduated from Volgograd Agricultural Institute in the specialty “Economy and organization of agricultural industry”, in 2001-2002 completed a course of professional retraining in Volgograd Academy of Public Administration according to the programme “State and municipal management”, has more than 20 years of professional experience in economy and finance.
From 1985 Elena Puzikova was an economist of one of the biggest poultry factories of the region. In 1996 she was appointed as Advisor of the Chamber of Control and Accounts of Volgograd region, in 2000 on the grounds of the decision of the tender committee she was transferred to the post of Auditor. On July 1, 2005 Elena Puzikova was transferred to the post of Head of the newly established Inspectorate for Audit of Expenditures on Agriculture, Fishery and Environmental Protection under the Chamber of Control and Accounts of Volgograd region.
On June 18, 2007 in compliance with the appointment procedure established by law, according to Resolution of Volgograd Regional Duma No.7/455 dated June 14, 2007, she was appointed as Auditor of the Chamber of Control and Accounts for a term of four years. On June 18, 2011 she was reappointed to the post of Auditor for 6 years.
In accordance with the Regulations of the Chamber of Control and Accounts she is responsible for audit of expenditures on agriculture and fishery, water industry, forestry, environmental protection and capital investments in these sectors.
Awards: Second Class Diploma in the Contest “Best Financial Controller of Russia - 2008”, established by the Association of Control and Accounts Bodies of the Russian Federation (2012), Certificate of Merit and Letter of Gratitude of Volgograd Regional Duma (2011, 2012), Certificate of Merit of the Chamber of Control and Accounts of Volgograd region (2009).
